Luciano Giarrano, local Atlanta native, has been a fixture in the ATL creative community for the better part of two decades. After building up an extensive photography, design and documentary filmmaking portfolio, he opened The Cottage Recording Company, a studio and label. Serving as the lead engineer, producer and event coordinator The Cottage became a beacon in the vibrant Atlanta music scene.

Subsequently he went from being a creative himself to empowering the next generation of creatives as the CEO of maker space MASS Collective and in his non-profit and teaching work at Reimagine/ATL. In addition he served on the board of numerous non-profits including ArtsATL and Murmur Media.

He co-founded Immersive Atlanta, an online publication with the goal of documenting, connecting and amplifying Atlanta’s creative culture and community. He is currently co-owner of Phase Recording Studio. He is passionate about community and connectivity and has used his wide range of experience in entrepreneurship and production to develop brands from the ground up, all the while advocating for artists, organizations and communities often overlooked.

He now freelances full time balancing creative and corporate, jumping between roles as director, dp, producer, editor, etc. - in order to stave off the boredom of being consigned.
